The Laboratory Medicine advisory committees were established in December 2006 and meet twice per year. First meetings were held in April and May 2007. The focus of these first meetings was to review and recommend to the Board of Directors adoption of the revised Accreditation Standards for each discipline within Laboratory Medicine.
