The 2007 edition of the Accreditation Standards for Bone Densitometry received Board approval on April 25th, 2007. The 2007 edition of the accreditation standards replace all previous standards and guidelines of the Diagnostic Accreditation Program.

Each accredited facility was sent a copy of the new Accreditation Standards for Bone Densitometry in July 2007.

The 2007 Accreditation Standards for Bone Densitometry are currently under review by the Bone Densitometry Advisory Committee. The 2009 edition of the standards will be published after Board approval.
