Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits for Physicians

As a DAP surveyor, physicians are eligible for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. The DAP has obtained from the UBC Division of Continuing Professional Development and Knowledge Transfer, confirmation that physicians are eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons CME credit as follows:

            2 hours pre-reading (Section 2)

            4 hours Surveyor Training (Section 1)

            8 hours On-site Survey (Section 6)

            Annual refresher training (Section 1)

Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Continuing Medical Education Program

As a DAP surveyor, Sonographers are eligible to receive 4 credits towards the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Continuing Medical Education Program.
