At the September 24th, 2008 Board meeting of the Diagnostic Accreditation Program, the 2008 Accreditation Standards for Point of Care Testing (POCT) were approved. Copies of these new Accreditation Standards have been distributed to all accredited Laboratories in British Columbia.

We would like to thank the Point of Care Testing Advisory Committee members, and those Laboratories that participated in the field testing of the Draft POCT Accreditation Standards, for their assistance in developing these final Standards.
